ICG lays foundation stone of Tier-III Data Centre of Digital Coast Guard in New Delhi


The Indian Coast Guard (ICG) recently laid the foundation stone for a Tier-III Data Centre as part of Project Digital Coast Guard (DCG). This significant event took place on November 5, 2024, at Mahipalpur, New Delhi, and was officiated by IG Anand Prakash Badola, the Deputy Director General (Policy & Plans) of ICG.

This data center is expected to be a substantial enhancement to the technical backbone of the ICG, ensuring that the organization can efficiently manage and deploy its assets across various operations in a modern maritime environment. Furthermore, this initiative aligns with broader technological advancements in the defense sector within India, showcasing the government’s commitment to enhancing national security through modern infrastructure.
