# Noida-based platform brings formal price discovery and logistics coordination to India's fragmented secondary materials sector; targets ₹2,00,000+ crore addressable market

Industry Auction Hub Pvt. Ltd. (IAH), a Noida-based B2B technology platform, has launched a digital marketplace for industrial commodities, scrap, and idle industrial assets. The platform, available at industryauctionhub.com, aims to bring greater transparency, efficiency, and formality to India's secondary materials trade through verified auctions, structured transactions, and integrated logistics support. Initial operations will focus on the National Capital Region.

The launch addresses a critical inefficiency in India's industrial ecosystem: the fragmentation of secondary materials trading through unstructured broker-driven channels.

By formalizing supply chains for materials that are often underutilized or misallocated, IAH supports India's broader circular economy agenda and helps industrial enterprises optimize raw material costs. The launch comes as India faces a projected 13–15 million-tonne domestic scrap deficit by FY30, with demand expected to reach 61.8 million tonnes against domestic supply of 46.7 million tonnes.
“India does not have a surplus/shortage problem. It has a visibility problem. Valuable materials exist across factories, plants, and industrial yards—but they remain trapped in informal networks and broker ecosystems. What the market has needed is a trustworthy, technology-driven platform that connects sellers directly to the broadest possible buyer base with complete transparency.

That is what we are building,” said Sudhir Agarwal, Co-Founder, Industry Auction Hub Private Limited.
IAH operates on a “List, Bid, Deliver” model designed for industrial transactions. Third-party inspectors verify and catalogue inventory within 48 hours of listing. Verified buyers then participate in open, time-bound auctions. Winning transactions employ escrow payment mechanisms, with funds released only after confirmed delivery in an audit compliant environment. The platform covers ferrous and non-ferrous scrap, industrial surplus inventory, off-specification materials, idle machinery, and related logistics and working capital support for MSME buyers.

IAH will also introduce a price-intelligence service offering real-time commodity indices and regional pricing transparency for better decision-making.
The platform represents a step toward greater formality, organized price discovery, and efficiency gains across India's industrial materials ecosystem.
